Athens tour by night

For a wonderful, fully organized, night on the town in Athens, you can book this nighttime tour of the Greek capital and its port followed by a relaxing Greek dinner and show of traditional folk dances that’ll both take place at the typically Greek ‘taverna’ in the famous and beautiful Plaka district.

THE TOUR

The evening tour will start with a stroll along the main commercial port in Athens, called the port of Piraeus. You will then have a panoramic view from the bus of the city’s most important landmarks (City Hall, the harbor of Micoliman) and continue toward the busiest yacht harbors of the Mediterranean. The port is a temporary home to luxury yachts belonging to the international jet-setting communities and from there the tour bus will drive you to Mikrolimano, another picturesque yacht and fishing boat harbor with many fine sea-front restaurants. On your way to the famous neighborhood called Plaka, you’ll drive by the city’s main landmarks. Once in Plaka you’ll get off the bus and take a pleasant stroll among the old streets of Athens ending the walk at the typical restaurant where you’ll enjoy a fine Greek meal, followed by live bouzouki music and Greek folk dances.
