From the hotel we made a short tour of the city, to go to the coffee roaster. 

Upon arrival our visitors tour the threshing, grain selection and roasting processes, learning about the quality characteristics that are necessary to produce an export coffee. Then we made our tasting, a delight for the senses, where we compared 3 different qualities of coffee, at the same time they learn to recognize the notes of each sample in aroma and taste. 

In the final part, we learn about the effects on flavor that different preparation methods produce. With the same type of coffee, we use 5 methods: Chemex, French Press, Siphon and Dripper and Aeropress, to better appreciate the characteristics that stand out in each filtering method. 

The activity is offered in Spanish and English, according to the requirements of the group. Our barista is the one who develops and guides the tasting experience, offering the opportunity to experience and learn from the flavors and aromas of coffee, not only in cupping, but in the preparation of different filtrations.
