Stop At: Aquila Private Game Reserve - Day Trip Safari, R46, Cape Town Central 8000 South Africa

Join us on an exciting South African Safari Day Tour with private transfers to and from Aquila Private Game Reserve - only 2-hours drive from Cape Town. Aquila is a malaria-free private game reserve in Touwsriver and is home to the Big Five animals: Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo. Please note that you will pay your own entrance fees to Aquila safari private game reserve upon arrival at the reserve as this is not included in the tour price. Please see an indication of fees under exclusions.

Prepare for an early morning pick up at your accommodation in Cape Town as we take a scenic drive for 2-hours, traveling along the N1 national road to Aquila Game Reserve. We will pass scenic vineyard plantations and you can even stop for a wine tasting on the way back.

Upon our arrival at Aquila Game Reserve, guests will receive a welcome drinks and be shown to the restaurant for a full buffet breakfast (Halal and Vegetarian options available).

After breakfast we depart on a 2 to 3-hour Shared Safari Game Drive. The safari is led by an experienced game ranger who will share exciting stories and facts about the reserve and the animals, pointing out the animals in sight.

After our African Bush Safari, guests will return to the restaurant for a full buffet lunch (Halal and Vegetarian options available). 

After lunch, you are welcome to relax on the terrace; lounge at the poolside or have a drink in the bar.

On route back to Cape Town, choose between one of the following wine estates for a wine tasting:

Marianne Wine Estate: Biltong and Wine Tasting OR

Fairview Wine Estate: Cheese and Wine Tasting

(Please bear in mind that the wine estates close at 17:00pm.)

Guests will be dropped off at their accommodation after the tour.

Aquila has a Wellness Spa situated on the Reserve, which guests are welcome to use at their own account. Should you wish to book a Spa Treatment, please be aware that there may not be enough time to stop for a wine tasting as well.
