Om den här aktiviteten
Let us take you on an insightful journey to the great city of Belfast, capital of Northern Ireland. Visit the Republican museum (Tuesday to Saturday only), Peace Wall and murals of West Belfast, acting as stark reminders of the times of political turmoil, now coined the Troubles. We will also introduce you to the Titanic quarter and will make time for you to explore the city center on your own. We will head directly for Belfast city to begin our tour of the city. Your guide will take you first around West Belfast, the home of the famous ( or infamous ) Peace Wall. You will also visit the Republican museum (Tuesdays till Saturdays) before you’re dropped in the city center for some free time and lunch (not included). You might need to change some money to Stirling pounds as you are now in the United Kingdom! After exploring the city center we depart on the second half of the city tour to East Belfast and the birthplace of RMS Titanic. Your guide will take you to the HMS Caroline. This is a real life combat ship that served in both WW1 and WW2. She was the last survivor of the Battle of Jutland still afloat. Afterwards , you will get to see the highlight of the tour, the Titanic Experience Tour. Here you will learn all about Titanic’s tragic maiden voyage across the atlantic. Sadly all great adventures must come to an end. However, the memories will last a lifetime so sit back while your guide plays some traditional music and enjoy reminiscing about your day tour to the north as you make your way back to Dublin.
