Canyoning Tour - Ribeiro Frio - Only in winter

The name of this canyon says it all… 'Ribeiro Frio' means cold river in Portuguese.

Cold it will be, but beautiful as well!

This canyon lies in the North side of the island in the Laurel Forest and has a 15 minute walk to the beginning of the canyon, 4-6 rappels (depending on water level) up to 16 meters, a few jumps and amazing surroundings. At the end there is a 10 minutes walk back up to the car.

Please note that this canyon only has enough water in winter time. Therefore please ask for availability.

Duration of activity: half-day

Please bring: towel, swimming clothes and a warm sweater

When: everyday, with a minimum of 2 participants

Includes: transfer, all necessary equipment, special canyoning shoes, water, snack, photo material & certified guide(s).
