Private Nun's Valley Tour from Funchal

At the arranged time, your tour begins with a pickup from your Funchal hotel or from the cruise port. Greet your guide, board the air-conditioned minivan, and begin a drive of about 10 minutes to the first stop.

Upon arrival at Pico dos Barcelos, take the time to admire the views over the bay and city of Funchal at an elevation of 1,165 feet (355 meters).

Next, head for Nuns Valley, a small village nestled between mountains in the middle of the island.
