Mekong Delta Full Day Trip by Speedboat with Biking & Local Lunch

Pick you up at the hotel lobby and then transfer you to a central pier (Cau Mong Pier - only 1 km from Ben Thanh market) by car or minivan.

Embark on a luxury speedboat heading towards Mekong Delta. When sitting on board, a light breakfast of chicken bread, fresh tropical fruits and mineral water are served. On the way, you will enjoy the fresh air and observe the pure beautiful landscape. In the meantime, the tour guide will explain about the daily rural life of local people living along the riverbanks.

Disembark from speedboat to visit a shrimp farm to learn how the locals raise shrimps. Afterwards, take a bike to visit the Cao Dai Temple and a traditional Vietnamese family making tofu. Then, keep heading to Mekong Delta and cruise through a small and beautiful canal where there are many water coconut trees on the bank together with freshwater mangroves.

Get on a bike cycling through a small path to enjoy a pure countryside featuring a wide range of trees (longan, green orange, pomelo, coconut…). For those who cannot ride a bike, the motorbike driver will take you to visit areas (one passenger stays behind a driver).

On the way, pause for taking photos of beautiful scenery and visit an old pagoda built in the 18th century.

Head to a traditional rural Vietnamese house covered by the orchards laden with fruits to have home hosted lunch, enjoy coconut juice and fresh seasonal fruits just plucked from the garden.

After lunch, take a ride on “Xe Loi” (tuk-tuk) through a local village. Then, approach to a small pier to embark on a traditional wooden sampan (a skinny rolling boat with 4 people per boat) to experience the peaceful atmosphere of water region.

Say goodbye to Mekong Delta and return to Saigon. Upon arrival at Cau Mong pier, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
