Wheel Pottery Workshop

Pottery is any material such as pots, dishes, etc. that are made from clay. Pottery-making is a pre-historic art and its remnants have been found in excavations in Rajasthan.

With Wheel pottery, one can make different pots by throwing and raising pots on an electronic wheel. Upon arrival, you will be served a welcome drink and introduced to the different types of clay used for pottery. You will be taught how to prepare clay but you will use ready clay at the studio for this workshop.

Learn the process of raising a pot on an electronic wheel. You will also be taught how to throw clay on the wheel, centering, and techniques required to raise a pot. Finally, learn the drying process and take home your work of art to keep as a unique souvenir from your visit to Jaipur.

Guests who are not participating in the workshop browse through our book collection or shop from the art collection on display. They can also order food and beverages from the menu and enjoy free WiFi in the facility.
