Om den här aktiviteten
Discover post-communist Nowa Huta District, which was founded in 1949, and centered around Poland’s first integrated steelworks. You will see typical communist era architecture, as well as the church in Bieńczyce and Cistercians Monastery. You will see an example of sacral architecture, preserved very close by to the grey blocks for the district's inhabitants. You’ll visit the Central Square, followed by Mogiła, a former village. View the Entrance Gate to Poland’s Metal Steelworks, formerly named after Lenin; drive along divisions of Steelworks; see Rose Avenue, the Folk Theatre and Arka Church.

Next you will visit Kazimierz Jewish District with its unique atmosphere of old synagogues and charming Jewish cafés where you can relax with a cup of delicious coffee.

Last is the Old Town of Krakow, which is known as a one of the most beautiful places in Europe and is an UNESCO World Heritage site. You will see it’s remarkable Main Market Square, the Cloth Halls (Sukiennice), and St. Mary’s Basilica, where the tour finishes around 1pm.
