Stop At: National Trust Chartwell, Mapleton Road, Westerham TN16 1PS England

We will explore the beautiful estate and gardens of Chartwell House with is wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. Explore the walled garden which Winston himself built before going in this 'small' but comfortable home which is exactly as he left it. We'll see his library and study, living and bedrooms and the extension where he hosted some of his lavish dinners. You'll get to see lots of the gifts bestowed upon him, his uniforms and then we'll wander down through the orchard to see his artist studio with its large and unique collection of original Churchill paintings.
