BERNINA SCENIC TRAIN & LAKE COMO

Begin your day from the Central station. Take the train to Varenna (approx. 1 hour), a charming little village on the Lake Como. Upon arrival, meet your guide and enjoy a short walk of the picturesque village. Afterwards, continue on with your small-group as you drive to Valtellina, which is a valley located in the Lombardy region (northern Italy) that begins right at the top of Lake Como. An optional lunch with local, traditional dishes is available before getting on the Bernina Train that climbs the glaciers with a stunning view! Once on top of the pass, already in Switzerland, we will get off to enjoy the panorama of alpine lakes, snow, trails and impressive Alps scenery! On the return back, instead of using the train again, we will drive along the panoramic road, go all the way through Valtellina valley, back to the lake for your final ride to Milan Central station.
