Om den här aktiviteten
Meet your host Akanksha at her home in Nariman Point, South Mumbai. Settle in with a refreshing drink and get to know about your host family. Akanksha, born and brought up in Punjab, moved to Mumbai post marriage about 5 years back. She is an MBA by qualification and enjoys exhibiting her handmade art and craft in various exhibitions. She has learnt most of her cooking from her mother.

She will teach you how to prepare some classic Indian dishes like Dal Makhani (The famous black lentils and kidney beans curry cooked in butter and creamy flavours), Roomali Roti (Soft and thin flatbreads) and Chole Bhature (A very famous authentic dish from Punjab. Chickpeas cooked with whole lot of spices and served with fluffy pillowy Bhaturas). You can learn about the use of spices in Indian cooking and make some delicious Indian food back home.

Post the cooking session, you can enjoy a hearty meal with the family and get to know about their customs and culture.

The entire meal experience will last for 3-4 hours.

Please note: This is not a professional cooking class. It is an opportunity to learn the tips and tricks of Indian cooking and to dine with a local family!
