Short visit to Naples? See the best of its cultural highlights with this 2-day pass to the Capodimonte Museum, Sant'Elmo Castle, Pignatelli Villa, and Certosa and the San Martino Museum.
Dating back to the 2nd millennium B.C and boasting a volcano that's as beautiful as it was once terrifying, Naples has centuries of awesome stuff to see. If you're short on time however, check out these four highlights with one 2-day pass.
Located in the grand Bourbon Palace of Capodimonte, the Capodimonte Museum is home to some extraordinary masterpieces by Parmigianino, Caravaggio, Carracci and more! As one of the largest museums in Italy it's worth a few hours meandering through the exhibitions and galleries.
This impressive former monastery complex has been turned into a fascinating museum. At its centre is one of the coolest cloisters in Italy. Spend some time soaking up great views, Baroque masterpieces and work by Naples’ greatest 17th-century artists.
You'll go photo mad at this medieval fortress on a hilltop near the Certosa di San Martino, with equally excellent views over Naples from the Piazza d'Armi - its roof. It was originally a church dedicated to St Erasmus, and in 1349 it was turned into a castle (well, why not?). The creepy dungeons could tell some stories.
This regal looking museum is a formal royal home, crammed with extravagant lighting fixtures, decadent chandeliers, and ornate mirrors. This glimpse into a world of wealthy 18th-century Italians will blow you away. There's even a collection of royal coaches and leather wallpaper in the library!
