You will meet your guide in front of Colonnade Row, 430 Lafayette Street (Between 4th Street and Astor Place) at 9:40 pm. This all-walking tour begins in the heart of the East Village where you will learn about the bloody Astor Place Riots, the hauntings at the Public Theater and Colonnade Row before heading down Lafayette Street. On the way to the murder site of the infamous Bloody Deed of 1857, you hear about two other ghosts, one famous, one not. After a story related to Edgar Allen Poe on Bond Street, the tour travels to The Bowery where a grisly murder is recalled involving the famous Suicide Hall. The tour continues weaving through the neighborhood stopping at a haunted firehouse and the most haunted house according to the New York Times. The guide ends the evening a couple of blocks from the start, in front of the famous McSorely's Old Ale House where you can stop in for the atmosphere and a cold one.
