The Sitio Roberto Burle Marx is a Center for Landscaping, Botany and Nature Conservation studies inserted in a vegetation region native to the Pedra Branca Massif, west of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Built by the architect Roberto Burle Marx in his residence in the city’s West Zone, the site Burle Marx offers its 365 thousand square meters in a trip by beautiful gardens. The landscape brought together one of the most important collections of tropical and subtropical plants in the world, which has more than 3,500 species. This large set of live plants adapted perfectly to the habitual nature of the site, consisting of mangroves, sandbank and the Atlantic Forest.
