Itinerary

Visit Aqua Rio which is located in Zona Portuária (Port Zone) in a former cold-storage warehouse. The aquarium occupies 22,000 square meters spread over five floors and a basement. It is home to 8,000 animals of 350 different species, including sharks, sea turtles, sting rays and fish.

You'll visit this aquarium, including O Recinto Oceânico e de Mergulho (Oceanic and Diving Enclosure) which is the largest tank in the aquarium holding up to 3.3 million liters of water and seven meters in depth.

During your visit, you will also see the sharks and get up close to other marine species. You can also pass underneath a tunnel and see the underwater world above you, giving you a unique feeling. You can also use the virtual aquarium and create your own fish or head to the augmented reality area where you can see many of the underwater marine life.

This will be a memorable experience for the entire family.
