Experience The Best of the Pacific on this expedition to discover some of the treasures of Costa Rica's Central Pacific coast.

Depart San Jose, heading towards the coast, making a stop en route for breakfast. Take a fascinating boat ride along the Tárcoles River where you can observe crocodiles, water birds and migratory birds in their natural habitat. Make sure you have your camera to hand and keep a lookout for the variety of wildlife.

After the jungle adventure with the crocodiles, continue to Punta Leona, a beautiful resort with a white sandy beach, blue ocean and home to a protected area of 750 hectares of transitional tropical wet forest to tropical dry forest; definitely an exotic paradise!

Swim in the ocean or in the pool, or simply bask on the beach. You might want to take a walk to explore your surroundings or just sit back and relax under a coconut palm.
