Villa Fiorentino majestically overlooks Corso Italia, road built in the mid-800 and main street of Sorrento.

The Villa was built in the 20's - 30's of the '900 from Fiorentino-Cuomo families and then donated to the city of Sorrento. Commissioned in neoclassical style, it reminds of the American twentieth-century villas.

In November 2016, inside the big park of the Villa, the ancient Medieval Walls of Sorrento, built to defend the city to protect it from the invasion of the Saracens, were brought to light.
