A uniformed guide will be waiting for you with some freshly baked croissants when you arrive inside the main entrance to St. Lawrence Market. Then it is off to get coffee at an indie coffee shop before heading out for a short stroll through old town Toronto.

Your guide will give you a brief history lesson of Toronto and point out places of interest and historical facts along the way.You will visit Toronto's first church and see one of the best collections of stained glass in all of Canada. Hear stories of the underground railway and the abolitionist movement in Toronto, the clown riots, the first public execution and the underground whiskey tunnel that dates back to prohibition.

Once you return to the market, the eating begins. Not only will you get to taste amazing foods but your guide will give you the back story as well the history of the dishes as you weave your way through the market tasting 14 delicacies from 12 different vendors.
