Venice Carnival 2020: Dancing Chocolate

Join this sweet event of the Venice Carnival in Costume® held in the campiello (small square) - covered by a glass rooftop - of the Hotel Splendid Venice. Enjoy hot chocolate and Venetian biscuits in a festive atmosphere. A classical trio will accompany the dance master and his partner during their dance lesson. You will learn the basic steps of period dances from the 1700s and will be able to replicate them easily.

The Hotel Splendid Venice in the 1500s was a roadhouse known with the name of Locanda Cappello Nero (Black Hat Inn). In 1900 it changed the name into hotel Splendido and then in 1930 into Hotel Splendid.
